Monthly Inspections

As part of their job responsibilities, supervisors and workers continually conduct ongoing inspections. Workplace inspections help in preventing injuries and illnesses and it is important to inspect the critical components of equipment or systems that have a high potential for causing serious injury or illness. Inspections are needed to critically examine all factors (materials, processes, equipment, procedures, buildings) to identify where action is necessary to control hazards.
