Fall Protection Equipment Inspections

Whether it be from exposure to harsh conditions or heavy usage, fall protection equipment can become worn or damaged to the point that it is no longer safe for use. OSHA guidelines for fall protection equipment inspections require that employers perform equipment inspections on harnesses, lanyards, lifelines, and SRLs to ensure that their gear is compliant and up-to-date with the proper safety standards.

On-Site Equipment Inspections

Fall protection equipment inspections with documentation are required annually for general industry and biannually for construction.

Fox Valley Safety’s trained consultants conduct on-site equipment inspections and provide a written report on which equipment passes or fails the inspections related to OSHA guidelines.
