Forklift / Powered Industrial Trucks

While it may seem like common sense for a new operator to receive proper training, many workplaces let their employees get behind the controls, untrained. OSHA estimates that approximately 77% of forklift accidents could have been prevented with proper training.  Fox Valley Safety’s Powered Industrial Truck training combines classroom training and hands-on evaluations to drive home your safety objectives and meet OSHA’s PIT standard requirements.

PIT Training is Required When:

  • The operator is new to the company
  • The operator is assigned a new type of lift
  • Work conditions or location has changed
  • The operator has been involved in an accident or near-miss
  • The operator has been observed operating a lift in an unsafe manner
  • 3-year reevaluation intervals

We train on all types of powered industrial trucks – from hand trucks to telehandlers!
