Our Story

After 25 years in business, we have a new owner and a new name! On June 1, 2020, Andrew Hippert took the helm as captain, rebranding from Fox Valley Safety & Training to Fox Valley Safety. Our name and logo may be different, but our commitment to our customers remains the same.

We are flourishing under this new leadership while continuing to build on the 25-year legacy with dedication and reliability. Our entire staff is excited about the next 25 years!

Our Fundamental Behaviors

1. Commitment to Employees.

The company and its leadership team always have the back of our employees first and support them at all cost.

2. Be a Fanatic About Response Times.

We expect and want to get back to to people lightning fast.

3. Honor Commitments.

We are going to do what we say we are going to do!

4. Do the Right Thing, Always.

All interactions with our team and our clients must be with the best of intentions to do the right thing.

5. Be Relentless About Improvement.

Improving our process, our service, our product, and our team will always keep us on top.

6. Look Ahead and Anticipate.

Address future issues in advance before they become problems.

7. Check Your Ego at the Door.

It is not about you.

8. Take Initiative.

Your job is not just what people tell you to do, but how you can make it better. Follow up on opportunities by taking that first step.

9. Have Fun.

Have fun every day and don’t take yourself too seriously. Try to laugh and smile every day.

10. Unblock Communication.

People are free to speak out without judgement.

11. Plan, But Take Action.

Talk without action will create cynicism or mistrust.

12. Religion, Politics, Sex, Race, and Gender Are Not Appropriate Workplace Topics.

Respect differing viewpoints by avoiding discussions that may cause discomfort, division, or distract from workplace productivity.

13. Think Team First.

How can you make the people around you better so you can care and support them?

14. Find a Way.

Know that between you and our team there is a way to do anything.

15. Embrace Change and Growth.

If we stand still we will not improve. So much positive can come from productive change and growth.

16. Practice Blameless Problem Solving.

By focusing on the desired result and not who you feel may have created a problem, you will be able to work with all parties creating an even better outcome.

17. Show Meaningful Appreciation.

Appreciation is a sign of respect and thankfulness and we want everyone we work with to know that we care.

18. Take Pride in Your Attitude and Effort.

Doing your very best for yourself and your team is contagious to the entire team.

19. Practice Caring and Compassion.

If we care about our team and our customers we will always do our best for them.

20. Bring Calm to Chaos.

In our homes and workplace we need to help deliver an environment of calm and collected behaviers. Chaos equals stress.

21. Listen to Understand.

By listening first and seeking the information you can form much better decisions and reactions.

22. Provide Emotional Generosity.

Offer empathy and understanding to others. Prioritize your team members emotional needs and insights over your own.

23. Assume Positive Intent.

By starting in a positive position you will get a better search for facts and results. People are good in nature.

24. Be Vigilant about Safety.

The safety of our team, physically, mentally, and emotionally is so important and we want to hold it high on our priority list.

25. Be a Life Long Learner.

By continual learning we will drive improvement, growth, and change, along with so many of the goals we have as a company.

26. Get the Facts.

Many of our assumptions are what cause conflict. Always go to the source and respectfully gather facts. Do not assume anything.
